What’s the Verdict?

The IGH card has a good sign up bonus of 60,000 points and another 5,000 after adding an authorized user. The minimum spend to get the points is a very low $1,000. This card also offers 2 points per $1 spent on gas, groceries, and restaurants which makes it easy to pile up points on your day-to-day expenses.

This is also a good card for travelers because Holiday Inn hotels are part of the property portfolio and there are more than 3,600 Holiday Inn hotels around the world so you can earn points when you’re just visiting family for a few days or when you take a long, international vacation.

The Club Carlson also has a good sign up bonus with the possibility to accrue up to 85,000 points. This is another card that lets you build points quickly; you get 10 points per $1 spent on participating hotel stays and 5 points per $1 spent on anything else!

Travel can be expensive but if you pair a good hotel card with a good airline card, a free vacation can be just around the corner. Happy traveling!
